FFBE Season 2 - Chapter I - Part I - Paladia
FOR THE FUTURE OF PALADIA
(Raegen is standing in front of metal doors inside a tower. An alarm sounds.)
Raegen: ...(Raegan has his back to the camera. Lightlord walks up behind him.)
Veritas of the Light: Raegen, looks like we made it. Raegen: Yes. Above us waits the emperor of Aldore. Veritas of the Light: Time works in mysterious ways. I never expected that one day, we would fight for the same cause. Raegen: No kidding, looks like our paths have converged at last. Veritas of the Light: Yeah... A lot has happened between us.(The camera pans down a bit to show Flamelord, Heavenslord, Waterlord and Earthlord walking up.
Veritas of the Heavens: The same can be said for everyone. All that matters now is fighting for the greater good. Veritas of the Flame: Still... 700 years later and the only thing unchanged is this space elevator. Veritas of the Waters: It's called Aldore Tower now, and stands as a symbol of the chosen ones. Veritas of the Heavens: Hard to believe, though... In the short time we were away, Paladia became a dictatorship. Veritas of the Earth: The battle ahead will be like nothing we've ever seen. Everyone's prepared, right? Veritas of the Flame: Don't you worry about me. I'm more ready now than I was before dying. Veritas of the Waters: The reason why we were brought back to life... That will just have to wait. Veritas of the Heavens: ALl we have to do now is keep moving forward. It's time for a new wind to blow through this land.(Raegen turns to face the group.)
Raegen: This battle is not aboult revenge, it's for the liberation of Paladia.(He turns around again as the doors behind him slide open.)
Raegen: Let's go!(A purple light shines, enveloping the scene. When it disipates, we see Raegen has donned his Darklord armor.)
Raegen: We'll defeat the Aldore Emperor!(The group walks forward. Battle begins against two Aldore Soldiers.)
Veritas of the Heavens: Paladia as it stands before us looks just like it did oh so long ago. Veritas of the Waters: The faraway stars are shining just as brightly as ever. Even should those stars be on the brink of collapse... Veritas of the Flame: Right. All true stars must eventually fall. Veritas of the Earth: But still, we are not too late. We can bring back hope once more to Paladia.(Battle commences, and you defeat the soldiers. Wave 2 appears against two more Aldore enemies.)
Veritas of the Light: But it seems we won't be allowed up. Raegen: Hey. Focus up. Veritas of the Light: ...I am just paying my thanks to the emperor of Aldore. Raegen: What are you talking about? Veritas of the Light: He gave me the chance to fight alongside you like this once more. Raegen: Hmph. I guess that is true. Veritas of the Light: Sorry, that was silly of me. Let us focus on the fight at hand.(Wave 2 commences. There is no further dialogue or battles.)
(The scene drops out of battle. A metal door slides open and the Veritas walk through. It's unclear at this point if this is a different floor, or the same door they had entered and perhaps now exited.)
