…and I’m convinced that my work on the FFBE section of this site SHOULD continue.
I didn’t play much–just about an hour, from opening cutscene to visiting Mitra. I saw enough, though, to know that while Final Fantasy Resonance is still largely the story of Season 1 in FFBE, there’s been changes.
For one, there’s a whole new opening movie. One that I’m not sure I agree was necessary, knowing what I know of FFBE’s full story, but hey, I could be wrong: maybe it WILL make the story easier to follow.
There’s also lots of little changes. Dialogue isn’t exactly the same as FFBE. While the explanation of Visions is pretty much similar, where you learn of Visions is entirely different (this change, though, I think was good).
So, they’re the same game, and not the same game. Therefore, my work in preserving FFBE as it was is still warranted! At least, I feel so.
I would love to push an update to the FFBE section each day until October 22nd, in a sort of countdown for Final Fantasy Resonance, but as I’ve said, I am just one person, and I’m not sure I have the time. But I am happy to say that I found files for the first three FFBE Short Stories squirreled away on my harddrive, so all I needed to do was some editing to make them prettier.
Therefore, Lasswell’s Short Story has been completed, and Jake’s and Lid’s have been posted.
I’ll do my best to post more FFBE and other content soon! Please look forward to it!
